Digital Library Systems Group KIC Sync V1.1



Download Instructions:
Microsoft Internet Explorer (MSIE), Firefox, Netscape Communicator, and other browsers work in similar ways. After you click the download link, a small window will open and ask you, "What would you like to do with this file?" or something similar. Simply click on the "Run" choice. Once you click on "Run" the file download window should appear. When KIC Sync has been downloaded a security warning window may appears indicating the publisher could not be verified, once again choose the "Run" option. The KIC Sync installation wizard will then start. Please follow the installation instructions until the installation wizard has finished.

Notes:
To start using KIC Sync either click on the KIC Sync icon on your desktop or use your start button and drill down to:
Start -> Programs->KIC Sync->Launch KIC Sync.

The first time you start KIC Sync it will prompt you to enter your user name and password. Be sure and user the exact same user name and password you created on the KIC station itself.

If you prefer save the installation file to your computer before installing KIC sync: Then when the "What would you like to do with this file?" window appears choose the "Save it to disk" or "Save" choice, and then click OK. Once the installation file has been saved to your computer you should navigate to the file KICSyncInstaller.exe and run the installation.

 

Follow instructions to download KIC Sync. To use the program you will need to enter a username and password.
For username type demouser for password type demo.
