KIC II comparison with older model
BOCA RATON, FL. Sep 15th, 2007 - Iowa State University has placed a KIC II unit along side an older large wooden cabinet KIC unit. The subtle and not so subtle improvements provided by KIC II have attracted a substantially larger number of KIC users. It appears that while both units offer the same scanning performance, and the older KIC unit is more familiar, students responded almost immediately to the friendlier user interface and the more inviting appearance of KIC II.
In support of our original KIC customers and at a significant cost to the DLSG, an original KIC unit can be swapped for a KIC II unit and a $10,000 coupon towards the purchase of an additional KIC II unit.
